A beautiful antique Mason’s Patent Ironstone China chamber pot, decorated with a colourful Oriental-inspired bird and floral design.

It features a large stylised bird among brightly coloured flowers and foliage, with a deep green handle and an ornate green, floral and gilt border around the inside rim.

Marked to the base with the Mason’s Patent Ironstone China backstamp and what appears to be the hand-painted pattern number 947.

Good decorative antique condition overall. There is age-related crazing, surface wear and some rubbing to the gilded detail, consistent with its age. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
