This elegant set consists of an ornate silver scissor stealth with original chain, accompanied by a pair of vintage steel scissors. The silver stand is richly decorated with floral and basket repoussé motifs, framed by rococo-style borders, with additional decorative detailing on the handle. The reverse features fine machine-turned texturing.
The piece bears French silver hallmarks, including a diamond, confirming its continental origin and solid silver construction. Sets of this quality and completeness are increasingly difficult to find.
Originally designed to be worn on a chatelaine or sewing belt, today it is a superb collector's or display piece.
