Simply place the PIR sensor in the building you wish to protect and if entry is gained, a signal is immediately sent to the Siren receiver unit, which in turn sounds its siren (choice of 8) and flashed it lights. For those that choose to place the siren receiver in their home, the 110db siren instantly alerts the owner and/or place the additional siren receiver (twin pack) in the building you wish to protect to move the thief on.
With a huge wireless range of up to 280m from the PIR sensors to sound receiver (when in direct line of site), then goods and property can be protected from almost anywhere within the local vicinity. AlertOlarm is an enhanced version of the split PIR motion sensor, utilising both infrared and motion detection to prevent false alarms. It raises audible alerts via its sound receiver to either dissuade the thief from entering or to instantly alert the owner. By adding four different PIR sensor units, entry points become easily identifiable through the four different colored lights on the sound receiver (only two PIR sensors per twin system box).
Choose from a wide variety of alert messages for the sound receiver, including alarm sounds, human voice warnings, or combinations of the two. Different sounds can be assigned to each PIR sensor to help identify various entry points and PIR sensors more effectively.
Audible sound receiver can either by freestanding or screw fixed into location. Whilst PIR sensor comes with high adhesion sticky pads for easy installation or alternatively can be screwed int. Both PIR sensor and Sound receiver can be powered via USB or either standard Alkaline batteries (included). The 'Power off memory’ ensures no need to be constantly re-programming if there is a power failure etc when choosing the USB power option).
4th generation power-saving technology enables longer battery life (7 months on average) while allowing both PIR and sound receivers to be placed anywhere without needing mains power. However, if preferred, you can also use mains power via your own USB cable. The twin pack includes 2 siren receiver units, 2 PIR sensors, and 2 remote control fobs (all with batteries). One or more fobs can link to both siren receiver units if needed.
The main benefit of the twin pack solution (over the single pack) is having one siren receiver in the home to alert the owner and another in the area you wish to protect, helping to deter the thief and draw attention from others.
