    Parker International Flighter Brushed Stainless Steel Gold Trim Ballpen, made in USA which is stamped on the cap ,In excellent condition with no ding or dents. Cap actuated mechanism in perfect working order.

Here is some further input from a Parker Ballpen Expert who kindly sent me this information : introduced in 1958, this all-metal cap-actuated ballpoint was styled along the lines of the 61 fountain pen and subsequently had a strong influence on the design of the 61 ballpoint. It was made available in solid 14 carat gold - the Presidential; rolled gold - the Insignia; and stainless steel - the Flighter (this model had 2 gold-filled rings around the cap lip and a black plastic clip-screw; distinguishing it from the grey plastic clip-screw 61 model.) A pretty rare pen, even in the USA - not available in the UK.
