This stunning sterling silver gilt Viking Longboat was made by the distinguished Norwegian silversmith Magnus Aase in the 1920's. Magnus Aase opened his workshop in Bergen, Norway in 1899, he was to become one of the Country's most renowned silversmiths.

This superb sterling silver gilt salt is impressed on the base 925 S STERLING NORWAY. The gilding on the inside of the boat is 100% original and intact as is the fine enameling.

The dimensions of this impressive salt are length 8 cm, width 3.25 cm and the height is 4 cm. The weight including the glass liner is 41.65 grams.
