Pre-owned original chrome postcard with moderate corner and edge wear, tiny spots of paper loss at the tips, and scattered surface scuffing and dark specks on the image side, especially in the sky and along the lower border. Back shows age toning, soiling, and a large dark abrasion with paper loss through the center that obscures part of the handwritten address, plus additional smudging around the message area. Two 1¢ stamps and 1953 Oceanside, California postmark remain intact. Card lies flat with no creases or tears.
