RODENSTOCK 360MM F/9 KLIMSCH APO RONAR LENS 8X10” CAMERA ENLARGING COPY

The lens is in good overall condition, with some signs of use.  The glass is clean and clear, with no scratches,  just microscopic marks from cleaning  and a very slight haze on the front element, barely noticeable in bright light at a certain angle. The aperture works, but it’s a bit stiffer than on a new one. There are dust particles inside the lens.

The Rodenstock Klimsch Apo-Ronar 360mm f/9 lens is a classic, high-precision apochromatic reproduction (process) lens. The Klimsch brand on the label indicates that the lens was originally manufactured for professional vertical or horizontal reproduction cameras made by the German company Klimsch & Co, which were used in cartography and printing. Today, photographers often use this lens for large-format photography.

Key Technical Specifications:

Focal length: 360 mm (approximately 14 inches). Maximum aperture: f/9.

Minimum aperture: In “barrel” versions without a shutter, the aperture can be closed down to an extreme f/260.

Optical design: 4 elements in 4 groups (symmetrical Dialyte type).

Thanks to this design, the lens is virtually free of distortion and chromatic aberrations.

Optimal working aperture: Designed for maximum sharpness at f/22.

Design features: Typically supplied in a shutterless (“barrel”) housing, it has a built-in slot for insertable water or gelatin filters.

Number of aperture blades: 12.

Frame coverage (format): At a 1:1 magnification (reproduction): Covers large formats up to 14×18 inches. When focused at infinity: The image circle is 318 mm at f/22. This is more than sufficient to cover 4×5" and 5×7" formats with ample leeway for camera movements (shift/tilt). The lens covers the 8×10" format at infinity with a tight fit.

Shipping Policy:

Shipping from Ukraine. Shipping available worldwide. I'll ship via registered airmail during 1-3 working days after payment is received. Item are carefully packed, usually with bubble wrap in carton boxes.

Don't worry, delivery from Ukraine works as usual! All parcels are shipped from Kyiv on time. However, delivery times depend on transport companies that transit outside of Ukraine.

Save on shipping! When buying multiple items, shipping is combined! I recalculate the shipping cost and issue an invoice for payment, taking into account the total weight of the package.

Return Policy:

Item must be returned within 7 days after the buyer receives the item. The shipping fee will not be refunded. All items must be returned in original conditions without any physical changes with all of its components.

Return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
