Thames Sailing Barge Dreadnought River Industrial Waterfront T Rayner Photo

This is a silver gelatin photograph that is unmounted and is 5½ x 3½ inches (140x90mm).

It shows a Thames sailing barge named Dreadnought under sail on a river. The vessel features dark sails and a visible leeboard on its side, while towing a small dinghy behind. The background displays an industrial waterfront with cranes and buildings, including one with a sign reading "John Fraser & Son" and another reading "Clark's Anti-Fouling Compositions".

The reverse has a purple stamp reading "Copyright T. Rayner, 41 Castle Street, Ryde. I.W." A handwritten pencil annotation next to "Neg. No." reads "Dreadnought".
