Vintage One Of A Kind Elf Gnome (nisse?) Character Doll

10" x 3 1/2" in seated position

The doll has a distinctive face with a fluffy gray beard, stunning blue eyes, and a long black hat . The face is hard plastic, medium complexion with pointed ears. I can feel what feels like wire under the fabric of his legs and arms.  He is pre-posed and cannot be posed in another pose.  His face is "weathered" he has lived awhile!

He is wearing a houndstooth-patterned shirt under a black vest, matching patterned stockings, and weathered brown leather-like boots.

He is holding u.s. currency $50 bill (fake) and us cash (fake) in his chest pocket making him, in my opinion, a Good Luck Gnome

Elves are popular at Christmas but for some reason I see him as a St. Patrick's Day doll but really, he can be displayed anytime of year. Weathered, lucky unknown maker, no tags, our guess is he was handmade but we aren't sure. What we are sure of, is he is unique, rare and awesome.
