Bucky Dent Personally Owned & Worn Texas Rangers Baseball Jersey, Pants & Image
Comes directly from the personal collection of Major League Baseball legend Bucky Dent.
Offered here is the jersey Bucky Dent wore while playing for the Texas Rangers in 1982-83. It is a warmup jersey and the style of jersey worn by the team during Spring Training. Jersey is made by Roman Sport.
Also included is a pair of the pants he wore in 1984 during Spring Training.
Team issued pants are made by Rawlings and are a size 32. Inside the waistband of the pants is an embroidered "7 33 23 84 1" strip tag along with "Set 1 1984" flag tag. The name "J.K. Klein" is written in black marker.
Dent played for the team during 1984 Spring Training, but ultimately didn’t stay with the team for the regular season. He famously is depicted on some of his 1984 baseball cards as playing for the Texas Rangers (although he ended up playing for the Kansas City Royals that season). And he can be seen wearing this uniform in his Fleer and Donruss baseball cards from 1984. (I have included images of these cards in the listing photos, but these cards are not included in this sale).
However an 8”x10” black and white image from Bucky Dent’s personal collection that features him wearing this uniform is included on this sale.
He has signed his printed signature on the back of the image and has twice signed his printed signature on the backing board that this image is mounted to. (See pics)
Image is in Very Good Condition!!
Jersey & Pants are in Very Good condition!! (See pics) both the Jersey and Pants show signs of wear from normal game use and from training. Some scuffs and dirt marks and signs of wash wear.

Comes with Certificate of Authenticity from Bucky Dent.
Bucky Dent is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) shortstop and manager. He is most famous for hitting a dramatic, legendary three-run home run over the Green Monster in Fenway Park in the 1978 AL East tie-breaker game against the Boston Red Sox.
Dent was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 1970 and made his MLB debut in 1973. He played for four major franchise teams: Chicago White Sox (1973–1976), New York Yankees (1977–1982), Texas Rangers (1982–1983), & Kansas City Royals (1984).
While known primarily as a slick-fielding, light-hitting shortstop, his bat came alive during the postseason. He won two World Series Championships with the Yankees (1977, 1978). And was the World Series MVP in 1978.
