The corresponding indicator light on the panel will remain steady or flash (when external potentiometer control is selected, the Constant Current mode indicator light flashes; when other modes are selected, the corresponding indicator light remains steady) Constant Current Mode: First, switch to constant current mode; the “Constant Current Output” indicator on the panel will remain steady. At this point, rotate the adjustment knob to set the current value. The setting range is 0.00–4.00 A, with 0.01 A increments. Please note that if the clutch or brake has a low power rating, the actual current flowing through it will be less than the set value. In this case, the controller will flash the set value to indicate that the set current has not been reached. After flashing three times, it will automatically adjust to the maximum current that can actually be achieved. For example, suppose the controller is connected to a 12 Nm magnetic powder clutch whose nameplate specifies rated operating conditions of 24 V/1.2 A. if the current is set to 1.3A, the actual current flowing through the clutch coil will be less than 1.3A. The controller will flash the set value three times, after which it will automatically adjust the set value to 1.2A Constant Voltage Mode: Switch to Constant Voltage Mode; the “Constant Voltage Output” indicator on the panel will light up. At this point, turn the adjustment knob to set the output voltage. The setting range is 0.0–24.0 V, in 0.1 V increments. Constant Power Mode: Before using Constant Power Mode, the clutch or brake must be calibrated. To do this, first disconnect the power supply, connect the clutch/brake, and then press and hold the “SELECT” button while turning on the power. The controller will automatically detect the maximum power of the clutch/brake. During calibration, the “Constant Power Output” indicator will flash, and the digital display will show the detected current value. Once calibration is complete, you can use constant power mode. Once calibrated, recalibration is not required (unless a different model of clutch or brake is installed, in which case recalibration is necessary). In Constant Power Mode, turn the adjustment knob to set the output power within a range of 0% to 100%, in 1% increments. External Potentiometer Control: First, switch to external potentiometer control mode. At this point, the “A Constant Current Output” indicator on the panel will light up, and the controller’s digital display will show the measured current value in real time. In this mode, the up and down buttons and the adjustment knob on the panel are disabled; the output voltage is controlled by an external potentiometer (or an external 0–10 V signal), corresponding to an output range of 0–24 V
