I'm not an antiques expert, but I've not seen another brass candle holder that has a chrome stem.  This one's very classy, in any case.  No dents, no flaws worth noting, shines up beautifully.  It was clearly well-manufactured.  The sections come apart for easy cleaning and polishing, and the drip well makes cleaning even easier by keeping wax from spilling onto the base.  I wouldn't be able to venture a guess about when it was made, but it looks as if it's got some years on it.
