This “low-irritation lacquer” was developed in collaboration with dermatologists to elucidate the mechanism behind lacquer rash.

Although this lacquer is less likely to cause a rash, there is no absolute guarantee against it; therefore, please use it with the same caution as you would with natural lacquer to avoid skin irritation.

It has a higher viscosity than standard raw lacquer and can dry and harden even in low-temperature, low-humidity environments.

It can be used not only for kintsugi but also for maki-e.

[Precautions for Use]

This product is natural lacquer.

Regardless of whether the container has been opened, avoid high-temperature areas and store it in a cool environment, such as a refrigerator.

Please exercise extreme caution when storing this product.

Keep out of reach of people and pets.

When using this product, be sure to wear gloves that are impervious to lacquer (such as rubber gloves).

Take care to avoid contact with your eyes.

If lacquer comes into contact with your skin, immediately wipe it off with oil such as vegetable oil or canola oil.

Afterward, wash the area thoroughly with soap.

While this lacquer is less likely to cause skin irritation, there is no guarantee that it will not cause a reaction.
