Sailor Pen Mechanical Pencil & Ballpoint Pen, Silver Vintage

This is a Sailor fountain pen set, including a mechanical pencil and a ballpoint pen.
The product number is unknown, but there is a print resembling a checkered pattern in the center of the barrel.

This is a set I received over 30 years ago.
Upon checking before listing, I found that the ballpoint pen doesn't write...
I'm not certain, but I think it might work if you can get a replacement ballpoint pen refill.
For collectors or those who understand the condition, how about it?
