Good antique condition for a book of this age.

The dark blue cloth boards show general rubbing, surface marks and age-related wear, particularly around the corners and edges. The gilt spine lettering remains clear and attractive.

The page edges show noticeable age toning, browning and spotting/foxing.

The book also has naturally uneven/uncut page edges and varying page widths, consistent with antique book production.

There is visible age-related toning and marking to the endpapers, including larger areas of browning/offsetting. Interior pages are generally clean for their age with occasional foxing and marks.
