Description of condition – what was checked
Our analog SLR cameras are manually checked before sale and divided into four condition categories:
- Good: Technically fully functional with normal signs of wear. All main functions have been tested.
- Acceptable: Technically also fully functional, but with clearly visible signs of wear (e.g. scratches, wear).
- Partial defect: Camera is basically functional, but the exposure meter does not work or shows unreliable values.
- Defect: The camera has technical defects and is only suitable as a spare parts dispenser or for decorative purposes.
We check these functions:

- ✅ Film transport
- ✅ Shutter barrel (audio/visual check)
- ✅ Exposure meter (if available)
- ✅ Autofocus (if available)
We are checking these points not:
- ❌ Image Counter / Frame Counter
- ❌ Self-timer
- ❌ Condition of the mirror coating or mirror mechanics in detail
Please note that each camera is unique - visual differences (serial numbers, logos, slight scratches) are possible. The functional test is carried out with great care, but without long-term tests or film recordings.
