DESCRIPTIONS
This is an early-model Radius 119 kerosene pressure lantern, widely considered a cornerstone of pressure lantern heritage.
According to online research, the early-model status is identified by several distinct features: the specific shape of the fuel filler cap, the position and angle of the pressure pump, the design of the control knob, and the shape of the handle. It is estimated to have been manufactured between 1932 and 1933.
Condition Report:
Operational Status: Fully tested and functional.
Body: There are one or two minor dings on the fount (tank).
Finish: Most of the original chrome plating has worn away, leaving only speckled remnants that beautifully tell the story of its long history.
Structure: There are two or three cracks on the collar (the lantern's known weak point), but these are aesthetic/age-related and do not affect its performance.
