The Football League was founded in 1888 so its Centenary was 100 years later in 1988. It is the oldest football league in the world. Since 1992, when Division 1 broke away to form the Premiership, the organisation has rebranded itself as the English Football League (EFL) overseeing the Championship and Leagues 1 & 2. Various commemorative items were produced in 1988 including this large pennant which measures 35mm long x 35mm wide. It is in excellent, clean condition with both hangers intact- see photos.
