This auction is for the complete WALT DISNEY’S COMICS & STORIES #511-547 published by Gladstone Comics from 1986-1990. 

This title has been published off and on for over fifty years, cycling through numerous publishers.  What hasn’t changed is the timeless quality of these great stories.  #511 was the first issue published by Gladstone, picking up the numbering from Whitman Comics that ended in 1984.  Following Gladstone’s run, Disney Comics took over printing the comics and followed the same numbering.

Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories features countless Disney characters, including Winnie the Pooh, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Mickey Mouse, Dumbo, and Goofy. Of course, many regard the highlight of the entire series as being the legendary “Barks Ducks.” These were the stories featuring Donald Duck and his assorted duck friends, drawn by the immortal Carl Barks. Even decades later, they have lost none of their power to delight and inspire readers.

I'm an individual collector selling off his private, well-preserved collection.  I’m not a professional grader, but I consider these individually bagged comics in VF/NM condition.
