Beautiful Japanese Taisho-period (1912-1924) silver bonbonniere box, marked silver and signed by the artist.

The box features beautiful and finely executed engraving, showcasing the excellent craftsmanship of the period. The lid is decorated with a 24K gold 16-petal chrysanthemum Imperial mon associated with the Princely House of Nashimoto.

The box retains its original dark age patina, which adds character and enhances the finely engraved surface.
