*NO SHIPPING TO CHINA* 1940s Chartreuse Green Linen Blend 2-Piece Dress Set. Elongated Peplum Top accented by AMAZING Fuchsia Pink Flower Appliqués at Shoulder and opposite Hip with Emerald Green Felt Leaves. The Appliqué fabric may be a wool felt, the Piping at the V-Neck also feels like it may be wool felt. Asymmetric Pleat Detail at the Sides of the Waist, Side Metal Zipper in the Top. Fabric is a Rayon/Cotton Blend Linen, Label reads "This is a Lombardy Made Dress". The Peplum is longer in the back than in front. Skirt has Buttons at the side hip rather than a zipper (not sure if this is original, or if she removed the zipper and added these). Skirt Waist measures 22-23", Hip 31" (Yes, I'm sorry, nothing to let out), Length waist to hem 26". Tiny pinhole in the lower skirt (pic), a few faint spots (estate-direct, I've not laundered) & some tiny grayish specks at skirt. This set was folded onto itself and stored this way for decades, there's light pinkish dye transfer intermittently at the top (pics). Faint widespread underarm shadows at the top, dirt at the tag. Skirt has two vents at the sides of hem, unlined...NO RESERVE!
