This is a classic "salmon-eating bear" figurine (complete with a base) featuring a charming face and a beautiful natural wood finish with scorched-effect detailing.

The underside of the base bears the inscription "1967," "Hokkaido Trip Commemoration," and a personal name—presumably that of the original purchaser.

While there are signs of aging consistent with the item's age, it is in generally good condition.
