Ernest Arnley and Gloria Day were a married couple.  They were a comedy dance duo already stars of screen and stage.

Mrs Collins ran a guest house near Llandudno Pier Pavilion.  Many variety performers stayed there in the 1940s.

This photograph comes from a collection of nine autographed photographs all but two dedicated to Mrs or Peggy Collins and (Aunt) Fanny. They were part of a house clearance I bought nearby in Rhos on Sea in 2016.
