A genuine antique hand telescope, clearly engraved “Supplied by Broadhurst Clarkson & Co, 63 Farringdon Road, London E.C.” Broadhurst Clarkson was a well-known scientific instrument maker operating from Telescope House at this address from the early 20th century onward, supplying telescopes used for both military and civilian purposes. Brass construction with leather-wrapped grip sections. Multi-draw (telescoping) design, collapses for storage, with

engraved maker’s mark clearly legible.Good cosmetic condition — leather intact, brass and engraving crisp, no dents or cracks in the barrel. When I look trough it , I see objects clearly. However, not being an expert, I don’t know if there is any cloudiness in the lenses. Sold as is. Out of a Washington DC avid collector estate.
