THIS IS A CLASSIC CAMERA AND A CLASSIC COMBINATION!

LAUNCHED IN 1973, THIS WAS THE FIRST OF THE SPOTMATIC SERIES TO FEATURE OPEN APERTURE METERING. HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THE CAMERA WAS DISCONTINUED 50 YEARS AGO!

THE CAMERA BODY IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE - THE CORNERS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE TOP PLATE IS VERY CLEAN WITH JUST SOME LIGHT SURFACE MARKS IN PLACES. THE BASEPLATE IS NICE AND CLEAN TOO.

THE VIEWFINDER IS BRIGHT, THE FOCUSING SCREEN IS CLEAN (JUST A COUPLE OF SMALL SPECKS WHICH ARE UNAVOIDABLE), AND ALL OF THE CONTROLS ARE FULLY FUNCTIONAL. THE SHUTTER FIRES CRISPLY AT ALL SPEEDS. THE LIGHT METER IS FULLY RESPOSIVE.

THE LEATHERETTE COVERS ARE IN VERY NICE CONDITION - NO DAMAGE, PEELING, OR DISCOLOURATION.

FITTED WITH A BATTERY, ALL TESTED AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER.

THE LENS IS ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, THE BARREL IS CLEAN, THE FOCUSING IS SMOOTH TO OPERATE, AND THE OPTICS ARE BRIGHT AND FREE FROM FUNGUS OR HAZE - JUST A FEW LIGHT DUST SPECKS WHICH ARE UNAVOIDABLE BUT WILL DO NO HARM.

THE DIAPHRAGM IS NICE AND SNAPPY IN OPERATION, AND THE IRIS BLADES ARE ALL CLEAN AND FREE FROM EXCESS OIL RESIDUE.
