I put a new battery in this watch and it seemed to get the digital to turn on, but the analog part is not working/running. I also don’t know how to change the time on the digital or if it works to change it. I’m not sure if all the buttons are functioning properly. The bottom left button seems to be pushed in and stuck. The bottom right button when you hold it the back light turns on. The top left button when you push it. It seems to be changing to different modes. You are able to move the hands using the crown in time changing position, but it feels kind of hard to move. The Basil rotates both directions. The crystal looks a little foggy. The case shows light wear. See pictures carefully. Message with any questions. Seems to be a pretty rare watch. Would be a nice project for someone.

Please Read Before Purchasing

Please carefully review all photos and read the full description before purchasing. The pictures are a major part of the description, and I do my best to provide clear, accurate photos, measurements, and details so you know exactly what you are buying.

All watches I sell are vintage and/or secondhand and may show signs of age, wear, or previous use. Unless otherwise stated, I do not test watches for timekeeping accuracy or long-term performance. I will always be upfront about major issues that I am aware of and will clearly state whether a watch is running or not running at the time of listing.

Quartz Watches

For quartz watches, even if the battery was recently replaced, battery life cannot be guaranteed due to factors such as unknown shelf time. If a battery is short-lived or fails after purchase, battery replacement is the buyer’s responsibility. Due to the nature of used and vintage watches, long-term functionality and accuracy cannot be guaranteed. That said, typically, if a quartz watch is running, it will run fairly accurately.

Mechanical Watches

Vintage and secondhand mechanical watches may require servicing, adjustment, or cleaning to perform to modern standards, even if currently running.

Because of the nature of vintage and secondhand watches, returns requested for reasons related to accuracy, expected performance, battery life, or normal wear may not be accepted if the item matches the description and photos provided.

If you have any questions at all, need additional photos, or want clarification before purchasing, please message me—I’m happy to help and want you to buy with confidence.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my shop and my watches. I truly appreciate your interest and support.
