​Pair of Antique / Vintage Green Glass Poison Bottles

​A striking pair of classic green glass poison bottles featuring vertical warning fluting/ribbing. One bottle includes its original ground glass stopper, and the other is a hexagonal bottle with embossed base markings.

​Bottle 1 (Square / Rectangular with Stopper):

​Design: Vertical fluting on front and back sides, smooth edges, square/rectangular body with ground glass stopper.​Base Markings: Embossed with "EB&S 8" (Edward Bagley & Co / Bagley Glassworks).

​Height: Approx. 5 inches / 12.5 cm (without stopper) | Approx. 5.5 inches / 14 cm (with stopper).

​Width: Approx. 2.25 inches / 6 cm.

​Bottle 2 (Hexagonal / 6-Sided):

​Design: Vertical fluting on three ribbed panels to alert the user of poisonous contents by touch.

​Base Markings: Embossed with "C2" and vintage mould code.

​Height: Approx. 5.25 inches / 13.5 cm.

​Width: Approx. 1.75 inches4.5 cm.

​Condition Report

​General: Good vintage/antique condition with normal wear consistent with age.

​Glass: Strong, vibrant green colour. No major cracks visible. Minor surface wear, internal cleaning residue, and light mould marks/imperfections typical of antique blown/moulded glass.
