This week I'm offering a number of old baseball cards for sale. From the Forties through the Sixties, major league teams often issued packets of large photos showcasing their players. The Cleveland Indians in particular issued a lot of these photos, printed on thin paper and featuring some very fine players. These photos make a great time capsule for that era and include some outstanding players. These photos remain highly collectible and are a great favorite of fans of the Fifties and Sixties.. Here I have a very nice lot of seven photos from the 1949 set (six different, one duplicate), measuring 6 1/2 x 9 and blank backed. It features many of Cleveland's best players, inlcuding Hall of Fame star Larry Doby, and they're generally in nice condition (Doby has pinholes in the corners). See scan for condition.
