Description

A late twentieth century 9ct white gold ring set with a prominent oval faceted citrine.

The citrine is a pale lemon yellow tone and weighs approximately 8.5 carats. It is held in a raised four-claw mount with textured detailing around the setting.

The cast white gold band is decorated with pierced leaf forms and scrolling elements extending across the shoulders, giving the ring a broad and decorative appearance when worn.

The hallmark inside the band is somewhat indistinct but appears to be for Birmingham, 9ct gold, with a date letter most likely corresponding to 1997.

Citrine is the traditional birthstone for November.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.

The citrine is in very good order, with minor surface wear to the gold consistent with age and use. The ring has been professionally cleaned and polished and is ready to wear.
