This is a rare, 15-page vintage paper ephemera lot from 1952 issued by the Kansas City Public Library's Audio-Visual Department.

This lot includes two distinct sections of typewritten, mimeographed mid-century supplement documents detailing the 16mm educational and documentary sound films distributed to the public during the early Cold War era.

• 1952 Film Catalog Second Supplement (11 Pages): Features classic 1950s classroom film titles distributed by Encyclopaedia Britannica Films (EBF), covering subjects like Alcoholism, Art and Motion, Autumn on the Farm, Better Reading, Boats, Body Defenses Against Disease, and Bread.

• Page 2 includes agricultural shorts like Cotton alongside the highly notable Cold War documentary Crisis in Iran covering the 1951-1952 Abadan oil nationalization crisis.

• Economic Cooperation Administration (ECA) Marshall Plan Section (4 Pages, Complete): A fascinating historical document listing documentaries used to show domestic audiences how post-WWII European reconstruction was progressing.
