Note on Factory Packaging: Kenwood supplied the original KCT-20 instruction manual inside these boxes from the factory. If you compare the cable to the manual's legacy parts list, certain loose hardware components listed in the old text are intentionally excluded by Kenwood, as the KCT-29 design integrates those connections directly into the upgraded cable assembly.
This modifies 80-series mobile radios for KGP-1A/1B protocol data use only. It is not compatible with FleetSync Enhanced protocols.
