Vintage Canon FD 135mm f/2.5 S.C. Manual Focus Telephoto Lens

Up for sale is a vintage Canon FD 135mm f/2.5 S.C. prime telephoto lens. This classic lens is highly regarded for its excellent build quality, beautiful portrait bokeh, and bright f/2.5 maximum aperture. It can be used natively on vintage Canon film bodies or easily adapted to modern mirrorless cameras (Sony, Fujifilm, Canon R, Nikon Z) using a simple, inexpensive FD adapter.

OPTICS:

The front and rear glass surfaces are free of major scratches. There is normal internal vintage dust present, including one prominent black dust speck/particle near the center of an inner glass element (clearly shown in the photos). In most everyday shooting conditions—especially wide open at f/2.5—this should have little to no noticeable impact on image quality, but please be aware it is there.

COSMETICS: Good vintage user condition. There is visible paint wear and scraping along the front metal filter ring rim. The rubber focus grip is clean, secure, and intact. No major dents or deep structural damage.

MECHANICS: The focus ring rotates smoothly and evenly across the range. The aperture ring clicks cleanly and accurately at all stops. The aperture blades are snappy, dry, and entirely free of oil.
