The budgerigar is a small parrot that
grows up to 22cm. They are native to the drier
regions of Australia,
of different sizes. They move, search for food,
preen, and socialize as a group.
They are very good at imitating different sounds.
The wild budgerigar has a green belly and a
black and yellow top. The flock is nomadic
and sometimes moves long distances to find
food, primarily grass seeds and herbs.
