• Seiko Prospex SRPE39K1 “King Turtle Manta Ray” Save The Ocean Special Edition

      The Seiko Prospex SRPE39K1 King Samurai Special Edition is part of the Save The Ocean project, which Seiko launched in 2018. A portion of sales from this watch goes to ocean conservation efforts, particularly the preservation of rare manta rays. This collection was released in 2020.

    • MANTA RAY ON THE DIAL
      The blue dial represents a 5-meter-deep ocean scene where manta rays can be seen swimming in groups. Seiko aims to raise awareness about endangered manta rays through this collection. The gradient dial color represents sunlight penetrating the ocean's surface.

      At 3 o'clock, there's a day and date window with a cyclops-like pattern on a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, making the date easier to read. The index markers, hour and minute hands are coated with LumiBrite, and they automatically illuminate in the dark.

      This watch design is nicknamed "Turtle" by Seiko fans. This nickname refers to the case's shape, which resembles a turtle shell when viewed from above. The Seiko Prospex SRPE39K1 features premium materials, such as sapphire crystal with a cyclops-like case and a ceramic insert bezel, earning it the nickname "King Turtle."

      The stainless steel case measures 45 mm in diameter and 13.2 mm in thickness, combined with a ceramic insert bezel. The bezel can be rotated in one direction and features a 60-minute scale for measuring dive duration.

      The Seiko Prospex SRPE39K1 is water-resistant to 200 meters, meeting ISO standards for diver watches.

      The Seiko Prospex SRPE39K1 is powered by the automatic caliber 4R36 movement, which offers a 41-hour power reserve. This in-house movement supports a day and date window, has an accuracy of +45/-35 seconds per day, and features self-winding and hacking.

      The caliber 4R36 beats 21,600 beats per hour. The movement is equipped with a diashock for shock absorption.
