A stunning good sized Victorian sterling silver mounted inkwell. It is hallmarked for London 1895 with the makers marks being JG&S. It has been superbly designed being of pumpkin form and is in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs, it still retains its inner glass liner.  It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10cms) wide by 2.75 inches (9cms) tall and weighs 940 grams. A superbly made high quality piece.
