Judging by the serial number, which is 18900A, this is very early, 1st version silver Richwood. The case... I don't want to say it is falling apart, but it is kind of fragile, bottom is stating to separate and so are the sides. Hinges will no longer hold the open lead at 90 degrees. The razor itself is very nice, no missing teeth, and no cracks on the handle. There is a tiny, barely noticeable with a loupe... I cannot even call it a crack on the top part of the handle. I took a lot of closeups, but none will show it.
On the bottom of the handle you may read the patent info: Pat. Jan 13 1920. All of these Richwood razors that I had seen have the U. S. A after the patent in formation. I don't see it on this one. There are twelve large size high resolution pictures posted, showing the razor and the case pretty much from every possible angle, please take a moment to view them and if you there will be a need to see more, please do not hesitate to ask I will gladly provide any type of a picture, any kind of a close up you will need. I have NOT tried to clean, polish or tempered with it in any way, this is how I have received the razors. Do not hesitate to ask questions please prior to completing the transaction.
