SWITZERLAND 1924 5c+10c+20c+40c PRO JUVENTUTE ON REGISTERED COVER NEUHAUSEN TO BRUSSELS BELGIUM
1924 (Jan. 25), international registered cover from Neuhausen to Brussels, Belgium, franked with a complete 1923 Pro Juventute semi-postal set. The cover is franked with the full four-value armorial set issued in late 1923: a horizontal pair of the 5c orange (Basel-Stadt), a 10c green (Glarus), a 20c violet (Neuchâtel), and a 40c blue (Schwyz), all cleanly tied by black circular date stamps inscribed "NEUHAUSEN" ['25.I.24.•19']. The face features a manuscript registration directive "Chargé", a paper registration label reading "Neuhausen No 986", a circular "120 / B" inspector marking, and a handwritten sender corner card. It is addressed to A. Schnell at the Banque Internationale de Commerce in Bruxelles, Belgique. The reverse displays a full manuscript sender address from A. Rich along Centralstrasse 102 in Neuhausen (Schaffhausen). The item is intact and remains in standard commercial condition. Small stain at right.
This international registered cover maps a secure cross-border transit route from the canton of Schaffhausen to the Belgian capital during the interwar period. Dispatched in January 1924, the cover features the complete 1923 Pro Juventute series, which was released shortly before the new year to raise charitable funds for Swiss child welfare initiatives. The total postal face value of 80c (excluding the charity surcharges) satisfies the combined Universal Postal Union international letter rate and the supplementary registration tracking fee, illustrating an attractive philatelic usage of a complete semi-postal set for official commercial banking mail.

Shipping is by regular mail $1.99 for Canada and USA and $2.99 for rest of the world. This shipping rate is for up to 3 items. For 4-6 lots it is an additional $1 and for every multiple of 3 lots beyond 6 it will be an additional $1. If a buyer has bought multiple lots he/she may elect to have them sent as multiple shipments by regular mail with each shipment not exceeding $100. Please note that in some cases the shipping may be slightly higher due to the fact that the item is oversize. If it has to be mailed in a 8.5 x 11 size envelope the shipping rate is an additional $1 then the quoted rates. All shipments valued over $100 including shipping will be sent by Registered mail for an additional $12 to the regular mail rate total. The maximum amount per shipment is $500 (including shipping). Any purchases higher than this total amount will be invoiced separately and paid for and shipped separately. Any additional items sent separately will be at a shipping cost calculated on the same basis as the first shipment. Any single item valued at over $250 or multiple items shipped together valued over $700 sent outside of the USA or Canada are to be sent by expedited mail (signature option) exact shipping costs to be determined but please expect it to be in excess of $60. These shipping requirements are not negotiable and are based on the current eBay and Paypal policy which provides no seller protection for fraud or theft above these amounts. For the following countries all shipments valued at over $60 may be sent by Registered mail unless you are a repeat customer. These currently include Mexico, Romania, Russia, China, Brazil, Israel, Turkey Thailand and any other country that the seller at his sole discretion determines to be high risk. Please note that for Registered mail we actually charge significantly below our cost for shipping.
Please note that in an auction items may start at a very low price and may be sold at prices that may considerably exceed the original starting bid. For the purposes of calculation of shipping costs the final cost of the item will be used to calculate the shipping rate and method of shipping NOT the original shipping cost specified in the listing.

SHIPPING TIME
All items are sent within 5 business days of receipt of payment. It then takes approximately 1-2 weeks (sometimes longer) for the postal system to make it’s delivery. If you receive a notice from eBay stating that the item has been shipped it may not be correct. Please look at your payment date and add 5 business days and contact us only if your item has not been received 2 weeks from this date.
