***UP FOR AUCTION*** You are bidding on a used, core piece, 350 CFM, Holley brand, 2 barrel carburetor # 7448. I crossed it to Tomco rebuilt # 2-424. According to my old catalogs, and online research, this "aftermarket" replacement to the Ford 2100 series carburetor is applicable to 1960s to 1970s Ford and Mercury vehicles equipped with 260, 289 and 302 c.i.d., 8 cylinder engines. THIS IS A RARE FIND AND PERHAPS A GREAT RESTORATION PIECE FOR THAT MID 60's 260 Comet. There are still some of these classic engines in service and this is a "used core carb" at a bargain price. This piece was recently obtained from the estate of an old school tuner, hot rodder, and drag racer. Unfortunately, because of being stored in a NON-CLIMATE-CONTROLLED warehouse, this piece is in a FAIR condition. This core/parts piece is rusty and oxidized. It is being sold as for repair or a parts source. Please study photos for general overall condition of this item. You will receive what you see in the photos. LOOK at pictures thoroughly...many parts are missing from this piece... You or a carburetor repair specialist ABSOLUTELY WILL NEED TO REBUILD OR SALVAGE PARTS FROM IT. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY and THERE IS NO RETURN. Please use the photos as a guide and do some "CAREFUL" research on your own. Please have some knowledge about this carburetor and know that it is what you want.
