An authentic piece of San Francisco Giants history.
On April 6, 2006, the San Francisco Giants defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-4 in their home opener at AT&T Park. The decisive blow was a bases-clearing double by Pedro Feliz off Braves pitcher Jorge Sosa in the third inning, scoring Barry Bonds, Moises Alou, and Lance Niekro.
The game is still remembered for that specific moment, as it was the first time in 49 years that a single hit brought in three sons of former Major Leaguers.
Omar Vizquel was named the Game MVP, going 2-for-3 and driving the offense.
