This vintage whitework embroidery drawn thread cutwork cotton chemise nightgown dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer white cotton fine batiste fabric with whitework hand embroidered satin stitch, French knot beading stitch details, drawn thread cutwork, floral vine leaf motif scrolling spiral circular designs on the front neckline. This lovely lingerie long loose fitting shift style chemise slip dress summer nightgown has short cap sleeves, a scalloped neckline with adjustable drawstring peach pastel silk ribbon woven through and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 48 inches long, with a 48 inch chest, 48 inch waist and 48 inch hips. It is in good condition with only a few faint tiny age spot stains. This is truly a wonderful piece of lingerie wearable art!
