A 1978 FIFA World Cup commemorative coin set from Argentina. This is the less common silver (not plated like most sets) large denomination version of the set with the 1977 1000, 2000 and 3000 coins struck in 90% silver, each of which is 100,000 mintage. The other three coins are base metal 20, 50 and 100 pesos.

Total silver coin weight is approx 50g.

Condition: The silver 2,000 pesos coin has toned to one side, otherwise they are generally nice condition. The pack is free from damage, just a little dusty from storage.
