Japanese Ryukyu Bingata Cotton Handkerchief 3pc Set

This is a beautiful 3-piece set of Japanese cotton handkerchiefs dyed in traditional Ryukyu Bingata style, made in Okinawa, Japan. This set includes three stunning color bases: deep blue, elegant white, and vibrant green, each adorned with gorgeous seasonal floral patterns like cherry blossoms, maples, and pine trees.

As authentic proof of genuine Ryukyu Bingata, the green cloth has the traditional kanji character signature for Bingata dyed directly into the bottom corner.

These cloths are made from 100 percent cotton and can be used as handkerchiefs, bandanas, or Furoshiki wrapping cloths.

1. Traditional Scent: Because authentic Ryukyu Bingata utilizes a traditional dyeing process involving soy juice (Kijiru) to fix the natural pigments onto the fabric, these cloths retain a unique, slightly oily or soy-like natural scent. This is not a defect or chemical smell, but rather the characteristic proof of authentic hand-dyed Bingata craftsmanship.

2. Stitching: There is a minor, slightly visible sewing stitch line on the hem of the green cloth, which is a typical manufacturing detail from the textile finishing process.
