Wild Blue Iris Seeds are GMO free. The lovely blue blossoms resemble a domestic iris but keep some of their wild appeal.  Plant outside in fall or early spring.  If cold is past place seed in moist sand at 40F for 8 weeks prior to planting to break dormancy. Sow seeds just below the surface at 70⁰ F. Keep moist and water seedlings until they become established.  Plant in moist, well drained soil in full sun. Flowers planted from seed will bloom the second year after planting.  These plants flourish with little attention and will form natural colonies that last for decades. Blooming usually begins the second year and established plants can be divided in the fall.
