Product Introduction Fine Molds 1/72 Aircraft Series US Air Force F-4E Fighter Thunderbirds Plastic Model 72941 The Thunderbirds is the official US Air Force acrobatic team that has used jet aircraft since its inception. In 1969 they selected the F-4E the main fighter at the time as their equipment and began performing impressive demonstrations both in and out of the US. However the large F-4 was not suitable for acrobatic flying and due to the rising fuel prices caused by the oil crisis at the time and the inflation after the Vietnam War they changed to the successor T-38 trainer in just four years. *This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting. *Separate adhesives tools paints etc. are required for assembly and painting. *"Plastic model" is a registered trademark owned by the Japan Plastic Model Industrial Cooperative Association. *This product does not include adhesives paints tools batteries etc. Safety warning Not applicable
