Description

This unit serves as a central control unit for switching between different antennas, providing identical signal strength at all output ports. It is an ideal tool for music enthusiasts and radio hobbyists to compare and evaluate antennas. It allows connection to antennas operating on different bands, all centrally controlled by the unit itself, eliminating the need to manually plug and unplug feeder cables. A dedicated RF switch is used to prevent wear and signal loss that can occur with traditional mechanical switches after repeated use.

Independent high-order filter banks are provided for seven different bands: LW, MW, SW, FM, Airband, VHF, and UHF. These filters can be applied to optimize signal reception quality for each band. This is particularly useful when the receiving device itself has poor or no built-in filtering — the unit can function as an external filter. In today's complex electromagnetic environment, it rejects out-of-band strong signal interference, effectively reducing intermodulation and spurious responses, and helps reveal weak signals buried in noise.

The built-in low-noise adjustable gain amplifier allows users to select the appropriate gain level based on the gain characteristics of different antennas, signal strength across various frequencies, and the dynamic range of the receiving device. Gain is adjustable from 0 to 30 dB, and the amplifier can be completely bypassed when not needed.

With four independently controlled signal output channels, each delivering identical signal strength, this unit is an excellent tool for comparing the receiving performance of different radio models.
