Vintage 1940s Lowe &Campbell Chanille Varsity Letter F Patch

Offered up for sale is a pictured 1940s low in Campbell Chanel varsity F patch and new old stock (NOS) condition. I hesitate to say it’s excellent because there’s a couple of small flaws in it shown pictured. They’re not stains or odors, but a couple spots were a threat has been pulled or fell out over the years. Based upon the size shape and company logo printed on the back this dates to the late 1940s into the pre-war and maybe war years World War II. This assessment it’s based upon the circular white paint logo and the traditional full blocks letter style. Further, it was sourced at an estate sale in South Central, Minnesota near Fairfax, Minnesota. which used the colors, orange and black. Research done through AI indicates that this color shape letter is consistent with those used by athletes at Fairfax high school Minnesota. Measures approximately 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide (measurements are shown photographed).

This is a rare, dead stock piece of Midwest sports history. Unlike most vintage letters, this F patch shows no evidence of ever having been stitched to a jacket or sweater, keeping the original manufacture stamp on the back exceptionally clear. The orange chenille is plush and 99% intact. With only a couple of minor loose/missing threats. That is characteristic of its age though. Letters this old and in this condition are very difficult to find. Perfect for 1000 and one uses. Let the photos be your guide and message me with any questions.
