This attractive, Italian post card was sent on or around May 14, 1911, from Naples, Italy, to a military hospital in Tsingtau, German Kiautschou, China! The addressee was no longer in Tsingtau, so the mail was forwarded to Tsinanfu, China, via the German Post Office in Tsinanfu(a pretty superb strike of the rare receiving cancel: 6/7/1911!) Considering the nature of the message, I would say that the sender was a fellow, German marine! He was likely on his way back home to German on a troop transport! As for the red, 10-Centesimi, Italian definitive, it's in very good-fine condition! Noted imperfections aside, this item remains a nifty piece of Italian, German military, and Chinese, postal history!
