Description

This is an authentic Edo period Japanese sword fitting set (fuchi-kashira), featuring a refined design of birds and plants, with a kao (stylized signature mark).

The piece is crafted from high-quality shakudo and decorated with elegant gold iro-e (colored metal inlay). The bird and floral motifs are delicately rendered, creating a graceful and harmonious composition typical of fine Edo period craftsmanship.

The presence of a kao suggests an artist’s mark, adding to the uniqueness and collectible appeal of the piece.

With its refined materials and detailed workmanship, this set is suitable both for appreciation and for mounting on a quality koshirae.
