Relisting from January -- accepted an offer but buyer had to back out due to health reasons. Was waiting for winter to be over, so relisting again. Photos are from October 2025 and the day after Christmas. Truck is currently in storage but nothing has changed from pics or ad.
For Sale is a1995 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4. Engine is the
standard 5.0L V8 with an E4OD 4-speed automatic transmission. Factory stock
3.55 gears, push-button 4-wheel drive with locking hubs, high and low range. Factory
original paint color is Electric Red. The top is untouched and intact.
I am the third owner, the 2nd owner purchased it
in 1997 and I purchased it fall of 2025. Currently it has just 99,700 actual
miles, always garaged year-round. Vehicle is for sale locally, so mileage may
slightly increase – I am trying to keep it under 100,000 for posterity. Still
has the original window sticker, owner’s manual, and both sets of keys. Clean
green Michigan title.
This OBS Bronco is what I would classify as a survivor. Previous
owner of 27 years did not drive it in the winter. It was used as a summer
driver, towing a jet-ski trailer and a small fishing boat around northern
Michigan, and the body reflects this. Rust free fenders, doors, cab corners and
quarters. Rear gate does have bubbling across the bottom lip as seen in the
pictures; disclosing up front, not trying to conceal anything. Doesn’t have fender
or box rot which most try to hide with those wheel arch moldings.
The 5.0L 302cid V8 fires right up when you bump the key.
Idles smooth and quietly, great throttle response. Has a newer Flowmaster cat-back
exhaust which isn’t loud at all and does not drone. Sounds about as loud as a
modern V8 half-ton with a stock exhaust. E4OD automatic shifts smoothly and
crisply, no hunting or slipping. Cruise control works great. When I bought it, I
drove it home 180 miles through the night at 75-80mph using the cruise, the
accel/decel/resume buttons and everything works as it should. Has a 32-gallon
fuel tank, gets about 14-15mpg avg with the larger tires on it. No tire noise
or thrum from the 32” all-terrains. 4WD works and engages quickly and reliably.
Hubs rotate into Lock and Unlock easily.
Interior is clean having just been freshly detailed. Seats
are opal gray velour – they haven’t been replaced with the shiny fake leather
(i.e., vinyl – super fun in the summer to sweat on) like many of these older
Broncos you see listed. Dash pad is like new, no cracks or splits. Interior has
been shampooed and cleaned, no weird smells. All the windows go up and down
quickly, even the rear gate window. No wind noise, A-pillar flip out vents seal
up nicely as well, and don’t leak. All original glass. Windshield does have 2
stone chips, but is the original; not cracked, just two stone chips.
Features the removeable hardtop, which has never been off
the vehicle per the previous owner. No leaks that I can see after washing it a
few times.
Has a new set of Bilstein 4600 B6 shocks (stock ride height),new
radius bushings and rides beautifully. Steers easily and tracks straight; no
darting all over the road or super loose steering as you see many owners
chasing, throwing thousands of dollars in parts and labor trying to fix in
online and Facebook forums. Air and heat work, as does the AM/FM Cassette
player. Nothing cobbled to undo and de-turd – if you want to add a lift kit
with 35s, 4.56s, Bluetooth stereo, and a Ted Nugent zebra print paint wrap, have
at it.
In short, a clean, well-maintained, daily reliable Bronco
with a nice set of shocks, bigger tires, and an exhaust.
For a 31yr old truck, it does not look or drive like one at
all. Doesn’t smoke, starts right up, all the lights and controls work as they
should. No vibrations or shudders through the steering wheel. A nice, reliable,
safe, well cared for and well-maintained older truck. As mentioned earlier,
when I bought it, I was basically driving a stranger’s truck home over 2 hours
in the dark and didn’t have any concerns. I could drive it to Texas tomorrow
and not worry about it. ABS light is on
due to a faulty modulator. Brakes work fine, common with Ford trucks of the
early ABS era.
Truck is sold as-is with no warranty, and all known and
unknown defects. I have tried to represent this as best I can, and the videos
should help illustrate how it looks and drives. Payment required within 5 days
of end of auction. Require a certified bank check prior to transfer of title
and keys – of which there are 2 sets! Buyer responsible for securing shipping.
