This is a Louis XV style French Vernis Martin vitrine or curio display cabinet with gilt bronze ormolu mounts and a hand-painted pastoral or courting scene panel, with Serpentine Plexi Glass and Curved plexi galss on 3 sides.

This lovely piece has 2 glass shelves and 1 that is lined in wine embossed satin fabric with fringe as are the inner walls. The bottom compartment is wood lined. This piece has beautiful gold filigree brass trim around all edges in the most ornate fashion. It has a beautiful fragonard romantic courting couple scene at the bottom. Original hand painted oil painting.

This antique cabinet dates back to the 1930s. The items inside the cabinet are for display photos only to show possibilities only. It is in good vintage condition. There is some wear markss on the wood in a few spots and this piece is missing the original gold tone metal key. Cabinet door sometimes opens, might need to tighten the hinges. Other than that, she is a beauty!
